tech:Bill Gates @ CMU!

Bill Gates is coming to CMU! This is the last stop of his farewell-tour all over the country before he finally steps down from his throne. As much as I’m not a fan of MS’s products or policies in general, I gotta give the man a big, big credit for what he has done. His commitment to give back to the society will be a big part of this talk.

so his latest message on “‘creative capitalism” is for companies to consider how their products can benefit society….i guess he doesnt consider paying taxes helping to improve the state that is home to the majority of his employees

If Microsoft is really evading that much tax by selling and shipping from Nevada, then they are clowning their community big time. Yes, I agree that companies should be more responsible and benevolent, and I hold that Microsoft as a whole is not much of a venerable entity. Apple is, on the other hand…
Sort of.
